I am so inspired by lighting and shadows. I love catching sun rays across your face, foggy light in the background, or the shadows that always come with the closest snuggles. 

I have an eye for details and I'm constantly looking for any little details I would want in my own gallery. The little curl that keeps falling out of place, the sweet smile from your partner, I'm constantly looking for it all and I promise to catch it.

My name is Ashley and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I’m a wife, mama to two, and a sonographer. I love genuinely connecting with people and learning about everyone’s different stories. I have an eye for small details and catching those often overlooked features is my heart and soul in photography. I love a good sun flare and beautiful sunsets. Real belly laughs and teeny, tiny toes. Affection and comfort. I always make sure to get that newborn fuzz and those back rolls since it all seems to unfairly disappear way too quickly. All of these things are so important to me since I’ve learned how precious life is. Taking photos of my babies is so comforting to me that it made me want to pass that on to you. There’s nothing more precious than passing memories on to your loved ones.

My photography “why” comes from deep loss. I lost my mom while I was pregnant with my daughter and it completely wrecked me. The very first thing you have to do when planning someone’s funeral is look for photos – my sisters and I had so few to choose from. When I had my own babies, I just knew I needed to prioritize being in photos with them. It’s such a heavy thought but it’s reality. I want the photos for myself, but more importantly I want them to have them so they can look back on them and feel love and comfort. They can tell their grandchildren all about their childhood and have proof of us in photos.

Motherhood will always be my heart because as a mom, I know we never prioritize ourselves the way we should. I’m here to prioritize you during our session and to make sure you have the most beautiful photos to not only enjoy now, but to pass on for generations to come. Your great, great grandchildren are going to ask all about you one day – might as well give them something meaningful to cherish where they can actually see how beautiful you were.
